Guest Testimonials
See why families and friend groups return to Howe Bay Beach House—an oceanfront getaway near Souris, PEI with big views, quiet privacy, and a shoreline that changes with every tide.
A group of us—all women of a "certain age"—just spent a fantastic week in the amazingly beautiful house and secluded setting of Howe Bay... Our first reaction was: “OH, WOW!” The house shone like the jewel it is—spotlessly clean and welcoming!

The 'OH, WOW!' reaction never let up—every cabinet we opened, every room we explored was a testimony to the thoughtfulness of the owners! Supplies in the laundry... spices and cookware and utensils—anything anyone could need was there! Howe Bay was our own private little world for a week… and we loved it! A lovely house on P.E.I…. With perfect views of bay and sky… Fields of red and gulls of white, Full moon rising at the edge of night… Morning paddles, evening fires, Small town churches with tall spires. Skeins of geese plus crows and more… Early walks on a russet shore. Riding bikes on a well-groomed track— We loved it here and we’ll be back!
“The Beach House exceeded our expectations on every level… the real star is the location. Secluded doesn’t really do this place justice… If you want peace, tranquility, and a touch of luxury then this should be on your must visit list.”
“We were thrilled to pull into this jewel of a cottage… the Howe Bay view is one of the most beautiful we’ve seen after vacationing in 3 continents… Thank you Lawrence and Jovette.”
“This little piece of heaven was idyllic!! … Best beach—right outside the door at low tide… miles of sandy sand bars, warm water and NO OTHER PERSON for miles. Heaven!”

We arrived tired, worn out and run down. We are leaving energized, refreshed and renewed... Truth be told, we really felt everything we needed was right here, in our own backyard… Best screened-in porch—right here in this house. We lived there—ate, took cocktails, slept and read. All in all, one of our best holidays. We hope to come back.
“Red dirt road takes us to a cottage with a view that is too beautiful to try to describe… The tides caused our view to change each time we turned our head… We loved it here.”
“Great trip and cottage! … In Basin Head, it was enjoyable watching the kids hurl themselves off the bridge into the channel below… With any luck, there will still be a light dusting of Island red on my shoes…”
